This chapter presents a personal account of the author's experiences as a head teacher in an inclusive school. He was inspired to take the profession by a handful of teachers who had dedicated their lives to educate young people by building their self-esteem. The chapter begins with the author's reflections and experiences as an inclusive teacher. This is followed by a section on learning to be an inclusive teacher. Discussions on the failures made in the name of inclusion and the application of inclusion at work are also provided.
