This chapter presents summaries of the case studies at the Berlin seminar in order to demonstrate the kinds of interventions and initiatives that combine community development and social inclusion. It cites the examples of Bradford (UK), Holmlia Community Foundation (Norway), Ghent (Belgium), Orebro (Sweden), Barcelona (Spain), Copenhagen (Denmark), and Upper Kiskunsag and Dunamellek (Hungary). Their key messages are identified under four headings: involvement, organisation, innovation and learning.
