This chapter introduces two new interviews with Sherleen and Devon that were not available at the time of writing their case histories. In forging a new perspective from which to understand their narratives, it focuses on the temporal character of the research process. The chapter reveals ‘what happened next’ to Sherleen and Devon, reflecting on how these new data resonate with and complicate the original interpretations. It also focuses on the ‘interruptions’ which provide insight into the twists and turns that lives can take, and the importance of keeping on looking.

Keywords:   two new interviews, Sherleen and Devon, temporal character, research process, interruptions, what happened next
